The Kogi State Hajj Commission has invited all registered pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj to participate in an enlightenment programme across the three senatorial districts of the state.
In a press statement issued in March 2026, the commission said the exercise is for pilgrims who have completed payment for the Hajj through their HSS accounts.
The programme is scheduled to hold from April 2 to April 4 simultaneously in designated centres across the state. The venues include Darul Arqam High School, Ateba Agassa, Okene for Kogi Central; Nurun-Mubeen Nursery and Primary School, Anyigba for Kogi East; and the commission’s headquarters opposite Crowther Memorial College, Sabongari, Lokoja for Kogi West.
The commission noted that inoculation and distribution of materials for the pilgrimage will take place at a later date to be announced.
It also called on pilgrims who participated in the 2023 and 2025 Hajj operations but are yet to receive their refunds to come forward with valid travel documents and account details for processing.
The statement, signed by Director of Administration, Imam Mansur Muhammed, on behalf of the executive chairman, urged all intending pilgrims to cooperate with the commission for a smooth exercise.
