The Permanent Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, has called on intending pilgrims to make early payments for the 2026 Hajj in line with adjustments to the official timetable of events.

Speaking on ABC Yola’s Hausa programme “Taba Kidi Taba Karatu”, Salihu stressed that timely payment was critical to securing seats and meeting new operational deadlines introduced by Saudi authorities.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his continued support to the commission, noting that such backing has been vital to the state’s preparations.

The session also featured a lighter segment, aimed at boosting morale and fostering enthusiasm among prospective pilgrims as they prepare for the holy journey.
