Firdausi Transport Services, Max Air Review Umrah Operations, Plan 2026 Hajj Airlift

The Chief Executive Officer of MaxAir, Dahiru Mangal, and the Managing Director of Firdausi Transport Services, Aliyu Jega, alongside the Managing Director of Fa’id Travel and Tours, have held a strategic meeting to review recent Umrah airlift operations and plan ahead for the 2026 Hajj.

The meeting, held on Tuesday with officials of MaxAir, also had in attendance the Vice Chairman of MaxAir, Abubakar Dahiru Mangal, as well as Ibrahim Abdullahi Jega, General Manager of Firdausi Transport Services Limited, and Umar Maccido of Fa’id Travel and Tours.

Discussions focused on a comprehensive assessment of Umrah operations conducted from the month of Rabi’u Awwal through Ramadan, with participants expressing satisfaction over the achievements recorded.

The stakeholders also reached an agreement on preparations for the 2026 Hajj operations, with the airlift of pilgrims scheduled to commence on May 3, 2026.

They expressed optimism that the successes recorded during the Umrah exercise would be replicated during the Hajj, assuring that efforts are being intensified to ensure a smooth, safe and well-coordinated pilgrimage.
