The Acting Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Abubakar Salihu, has held a closed-door meeting with senior officials to assess preparations for the 2026 Hajj.
The meeting focused on accommodation arrangements in Makkah and the overall welfare of pilgrims.
Salihu confirmed that suitable accommodation has been secured for intending pilgrims and directed the committee to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment in the designated hotels.
He also tasked officials with identifying potential challenges and proposing measures to enhance pilgrims’ welfare ahead of the exercise.
The commission said all arrangements would be finalised before the departure of the first batch of pilgrims.
