The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji Shehu Yahaya Jalam, who died in Saudi Arabia during the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The delegation was led by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, who visited the deceased’s residence to sympathise with the family over their loss.

In a statement, the board expressed deep sorrow over his passing and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon him.

“May Allah forgive him, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family and the entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the statement said.
