The Borno State Hajj Commission has approved a facility to host intending pilgrims from Yobe State ahead of their departure for the Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
Chairman of the commission, Yakubu Musa, gave the approval while receiving a delegation from the Yobe State Hajj Commission on a courtesy visit.
The visit was aimed at securing a suitable venue in Borno State where Yobe pilgrims would be accommodated and coordinated before departure.
Musa assured the delegation of the commission’s support and approved the use of the Agency for Mass Literacy as the designated venue for the pilgrims’ activities and temporary stay.
He stressed the need for collaboration among states to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj operation.
The Yobe delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception and support extended to them.
