She came for umrah and had a stroke!!!
The ER physician called me and said this young woman presented with intracranial bleeding so I decided to see her in the emergency room, a young Nigerian woman exuding affluence
She kept crying of serious headache with one side of Body numbed.
I did a complete Neurological examinations and then i asked her about her past medical history, she is not diabetic, she is not hypertensive, from the history I took something was off, I take a look at her platelet count it was slightly decreased in my mind this will likely not cause any significant bleeding.
I asked her about her last child birth she refused to open up, I asked her about last menstrual cycle she refused to open up, I asked her if she is taking any contraceptives? She said I am asking her too much personal questions!!!
I told the ER physician why are you calling me? Dont call me until after calling the NEUROLOGIST!!!!
He said he knows I love Nigerians 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You do not joke with your Nigerian brothers of course i dont joke with my brothers for I know if they go to Nigeria they will not get the opportunity to acess such health care easily.
I went back and ordered a CT Venogram, I took a look at it and saw what I was looking for, a filling defect in a very large blood vessel in the brain we call it Sagittal venous thrombosis!!!!
I returned back to her, madam big man wife, did you take oral contraceptive before coming for umrah? She said Yes!!!
I said thank you, your case is not of my jurisdiction, I called the Neurologist who managed her beautifully.
Stop taking oral contraception just to stop your period because you want to do Umrah!!!
Oral contraceptives are not simple medicines you will take without your doctors input, except you love to die.
