GOVERNOR SULE DOLED OUT SR200 RIYAL TO EACH NASARAWA STATE PILGRIM AS SALLAH GIFT

Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule has distributed two hundred Saudi riyal as a sallah gift to each 1760 pilgrims currently in Saudi Arabia for 2024 Hajj.

The Governor who made the announcement through the leader of government delegation and State Chief Judge Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu said the gesture was to cushion the hardship pilgrims may encounter as a result of foreign exchange rate.

He appreciated the pilgrims for their prayers on peace and economic stability to the state and the country during the Araft Day.

Some pilgrims Ibrahim Magajin Aska and Riskatu Bello thanked the Governor for the welfare and promised to be good ambassadors of the state.

Correspondent Abdulrazaq Muhammad reports that Governor Sule had earlier paid off two hundred dollars to all the pilgrims for the compulsory Ram sacrifice (HADAYA).
