Kastsina State Muslim Pilgrims board has organised a one day retreat for its operational staff with a view to mapped out blueprints for a hitch-free hajj
The Executive Director of the board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki while declaring the workshop open stated that the “objectives of the retreat are to review the problems of the previous Hajj exercise in the state and draw map for a hitch-free operation in future”.
Alhaji Suleiman stated that the conduct of the retreat is a signal to the commencement of some Hajj 2021 operational actions and serves as capacity building for the staff of the board”
He expressed appreciation to the Government of Katsina State under the leadership of the Executive Governor of the State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari for his support.
He further said that “it is expected that after the retreat the participants will be well informed on the rudiments of Hajj Operation and the herculean task ahead which includes the deliberation on the commencement of the newly introduced Hajj saving scheme.
In his welcome address, the Chairman organising committee of the retreat who is also the Director of Admin and supply of the board Alhaji Sada Salisu Ruma commended the effort of the Executive Director for initiating such programme for the staff and urged the participants of the retreat to conduct themselves peacefully during the event.
Also speaking the Chairman presentation committee who also the Chairman House Committee on Religious affairs Hon. Mustapha Yusuf jibia appreciated the effort of the initiator of the programme and called on the staff of the board to dedicate themselves during the retreat exercise.
