Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has commenced enlightenment exercise to its 2021 Hajj intending pilgrims.
Declaring the exercise opened today in Damaturu the Yobe State Capital, the Executive Chairman of the State Pilgrims Commission, Alhaji Bukar Kime charged the intending pilgrims to be attending the exercise everyday running from Monday to Thursday.
He also informed them that, NAHCON has not yet released the 2021 Hajj guidelines but has promised to allocate seats to states base on first come first serve.
He said NAHCON is yet to release the total number of seats to be allocated to the state while the cost for the conduct of the 2021 Hajj exercise is yet to be tabulated and announced. Alh Kime, therefore asked them to be patient and keep away from all forms of speculations on the conduct of the 2021 exercise.
The pilgrims were further advised to ensure that, they are given 2- dose of the Covid-19 vaccines which will enable them perform the Hajj. Alh. Kime admonished the pilgrims to adhere to all Covid-19 protocols at all points of the Hajj activities.
