The Katsina State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board said the first batch of about 1,506 pilgrims who participated in the 2023 hajj from the state have been verified and will receive their refund payment through their Bank Account Starting today insha Allah.
The total Amount to be distributed to the 1,506 Pilgrims stood at N91,986,480, out of over 282 million Naira remitted to the Board by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON)for refund to the 2023 Pilgrims.
The Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Sagir Abdullahi Inde, who is also the Director of Finance of the Board, said a total of 2,023 pilgrims are to benefit, including pilgrims from the Seven Zonal Offices in the State and Some Officials from the State and LGAs, respectively.
