Hajj 2024: First batch of 554 Kano pilgrims ready for return journey

About five hundred and fifty-four (554) Kano State pilgrims have completed all arrangements for their return home on the first flight.

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, made this statement today during the farewell ceremony for the pilgrims at Kudai Area in Makka the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This follows the schedule set by the Board and Max Air, as seen last week. Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u promised to continue with the arrangement, stating that those who came first would be the ones to go back home first.

The Local Governments shortlisted are Gwale, Dala, Ungogo, and Fagge respectively. He urged all pilgrims to remain peaceful and patient. All pilgrims will continue to receive food, medication, and all necessary care until the departure of the last flight.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, represented by the Director of Hajj Operations, Alhaji Kabiru Muhd Panda, called on those returning to maintain good manners as they did before and to continue praying for the success of this exercise.

The flight will depart from King Abdul-Aziz International Airport Jeddah today to Malam Aminu Kano International Airport with Kano State pilgrims.
