The Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris has said that the state governor, Bala Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi) has proven his love for the state and its people by the constant gestures to intending pilgrims from the state.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with HAJJ REPORTERS in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Imam Abdulrahaman Idris said Governor Bala was the first to give a subsidy to pilgrims this year when he paid the initial increase of One Million Naira for each of the state’s pilgrims.
He also said the governor went ahead and paid the balance of the shortfall of Basic Travel Allowance of $100 to each of the pilgrims.
“All the pilgrims are very happy with His Excellency, the governor and they all prayed for him. Truly, we are all happy with our able governor,” he said.
He also said Governor Bala is known for extending Goodwill to Bauchi State pilgrims
yearly since he assumed office. He also attends to their welfare by visiting them in tents or accommodations.
