HAJJ 2026: HOW ALKAUTHAR TRAVELS DEMONSTRATES RESILIENCE IN VISA PROCESSING AMID GLOBAL CONSTRAINTS

Alkauthar Travels and Tours Ltd is pleased to inform the public that the vast majority of its intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj successfully secured their visas, despite its inability to secure visas for a small number of pilgrims. The company disclosed that despite extensive efforts by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Hajiya Rabiat Umar, through the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and engagements with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, some visa applications could not be processed.

According to a statement issued by the company’s spokesperson, Salisu Lado, the challenge is part of a broader global situation arising from adjustments in the Hajj calendar and reduced allocations. “We were optimistic that all our pilgrims would secure visas, having fulfilled all requirements within the stipulated timeframe.

An initial allocation was granted, with an additional opportunity provided to increase the number of pilgrims, subject to timely payment, which we complied with fully. Following this, all required details for the expanded number of pilgrims were duly uploaded on the portal.

However, without prior notice or explanation, the additional slots were subsequently withdrawn, and approvals were limited to the initial allocation that had been originally granted.

This unexpected development is what led to the inability to secure visas for some of our intending pilgrims.” the statement said.

The company further revealed that its CEO travelled to Saudi Arabia and spent nearly a month exploring possible solutions, but the efforts did not yield the desired outcome. Addressing affected pilgrims, Hajiya Rabiat Umar urged them to accept the development in good faith: “Hajj is an act of worship that is only fulfilled by the will of Allah. No matter one’s readiness or intention, it can only happen when He permits.

For those affected this year, we trust that Allah, in His infinite wisdom, has deferred their journey for a greater good, and His decree is always the best.” Alkauthar Travels and Tours assured all affected pilgrims that full refunds will be processed promptly, while also offering the option of transferring payments as deposits for the 2027 Hajj exercise.

Preparations for the next Hajj season have already commenced. Pilgrims who opt to retain their deposits for 2027 will be prioritized once registration opens,” the statement added.

Alkauthar Travels and Tours reaffirms its unwavering commitment to excellence, transparency, and the highest standards of service, as it continues to serve pilgrims with dedication and integrity.
