Hajj Registration: Katsina pilgrims board engage Juma,at Mosque Imams on sensitizations

Katsina state Muslim pilgrims’ welfare boards has launched enlightenment campaign to sensitize intending pilgrims about the time limit for registration for 2024 hajj exercise.

 

The board has engaged all the Imams of Juma’at mosque in Katsina to use their todays’ Friday khutba to enlighten Muslims in the state that hajj 2024 preparations and registration is ongoing and to specifically informed intending pilgrims that 2024 hajj registration will close by ending of December 2023.

 

Furthermore, the board urge those who are interested in participating in 2024 hajj to contact the registration Centres within their zone as soon as they are ready. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has directed states to remit pilgrims registration fund latest by December.

 

“We are also working to meet with traditional rulers in the state as part of broad enlightenment design to promote awareness on hajj registration. Also, we are looking forward to partner with Media houses in the state.

 

The Executive Director of the board, Alh Suleiman Nuhu Kuki said the aim is to increase awareness about the dangers of delaying registration because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set an extremely tight deadlines for 2024 hajj preparations.

 

Alh Kuki who expresses appreciation to the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Alh Dikko Umra Radda for his support towards preparation for 2024 hajj said the board will redouble its efforts to ensure that the state intending pilgrims get a better and memorable services during the forthcoming hajj.
