I need to commend the strategy of monitoring adopted by the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria during the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage. Since the beginning of the Operations monitoring was evident in all stages. This situation made all stakeholders to perform their assigned duties to the best of their ability.
The Zeal and Commitment shown by NAHCON officials both onshore and offshore really needs to be commended. The Chairman who is new in the System forced himself to learn the operations by listening to all sides and balance the equation with his experience as a top Civil Servant and taking the right direction as an old timer and as a Lawyer .
These two were combined by the Fellow of War College to forge ahead and face the bull by the horn. He developed a lot of strategies to make sure that Hajj 2024 is successful. This was achieved with commendations pouring all over after the commission was scored about 99.5% successful on welfare, accommodation, transport and sanitation in all spaces provided. The Chairman requested the Ulama and Staff to pray for the success of Hajj 2024 Operations.
