KANO STATE PILGRIMS’ WELFARE BOARD REOPENS DAILY HAJJ INDUCTION COURSE FOR 2026 HAJJ PILGRIMS

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially commenced its statewide Hajj Induction Course (BITA), aimed at preparing intending pilgrims for the sacred journey.

The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, declared the programme open and urged all prospective pilgrims to fully commit to the training. He emphasised that the induction course, which will run for up to five weeks, is essential in equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and guidance for a successful Hajj exercise.

Alhaji Matawalle highlighted that the Board has established 20 training centres strategically located across the state to ensure accessibility for all pilgrims. These centres are situated in various Local Government Areas, including Dala, Kumbotso, Ungogo, Bichi, Gwarzo, Wudil, Gezawa, Kura, and Rano.

Other locations include Tudun Wada, Doguwa, Takai, Rogo, Rimin -Gado, Karaye, Bebeji, Rogo, and Gaya Local Government Areas. Additionally, special centers have been designated at the School for Arabic Studies and the College for Qur’anic Studies.

He further reiterated the Board’s commitment to ensuring that all intending pilgrims from Kano State are well-prepared spiritually, physically, and mentally for the Hajj pilgrimage.

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board encourages all registered pilgrims to attend the induction sessions regularly and make the most of this important preparatory programme.
