KEBBI GOV BAGS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD IN MAKKAH FOR COMMITMENT TO PILGRIMS’ WELFARE

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has been honoured with a prestigious award in Makkah,Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in recognition of his outstanding commitment to the welfare and well-being of pilgrims from Kebbi State.

The award was jointly presented by Saudi-based service providers engaged in the 2026 Hajj operations in Saudi Arabia in appreciation of the Governor’s unwavering support and dedication to ensuring the comfort and success of the pilgrimage for pilgrims from the state.

Presenting the award on behalf of the service providers,the Managing Director of Musharik Azzahabia, Muhammad Sultan, commended Governor Nasir Idris for prioritising the welfare of Kebbi pilgrims and providing the necessary support that facilitated the smooth conduct of this year’s Hajj operations.

He stated that the companies were proud to be associated with the Kebbi State Government in delivering quality services to the state’s pilgrims.

Muhammad Sultan also praised the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro Enabo, for his dedication and hard work, which contributed significantly to the success of the pilgrimage exercise.

Receiving the award on behalf of Governor Nasir Idris, the Chairman of the Hajj Government Delegation and former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Alhaji Jafaru Ahmed Jega (Rtd.), accompanied by the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency and other members of the delegation, expressed appreciation to the service providers for the honour bestowed on the Governor.

“We are extremely delighted by the honour accorded our leader, Governor Nasir Idris, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to the welfare of our pilgrims,” Jega said.

He noted that the recognition further demonstrated the diligence and effectiveness of the leadership of the Pilgrims Welfare Agency in carrying out its responsibilities.

Alhaji Jafaru Ahmed Jega reaffirmed the commitment of the Kebbi State Government to sustaining its support for Hajj operations in order to further enhance the welfare and comfort of pilgrims from the state.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro Enabo, expressed gratitude to Governor Nasir Idris for the confidence reposed in him and for the tremendous support extended to the agency in serving Kebbi pilgrims.

The award was jointly organised by three Hajj service providers: Musharik Azzahabia Visa Providers, Shuraka’ul Haira, providers of accommodation and catering services, and Daleel Al Mu’aleem Transport Company.

The event featured a dinner reception and the formal presentation of the award to the Kebbi State delegation.
