LAST 10 DAYS: APPEAL TO ALL IMAMS ON THE USE OF LOUDSPEAKERS

by admin

As we begin the journey into the last 10 days of this holy month, it is important to know that Islām commands respect for the rights of others, especially our neighbours and prohibits harming them.

Observing Qiyāmul-Layl in the last third of the night is a meritorious act.

In some Mosques, announcements have been made that Tarāwīh prayers will be postponed to the middle of the night.

This is commendable.

However, kindly note that using the loudspeaker at this time could constitute potential and serious disturbance and harm to the following persons:

  1. Those who may have observed their Tarāwīh earlier in the night and want to enjoy their sleep;

  1. Women who are off Salāt and fasting.

  1. Pregnant and nursing mothers who haven’t enjoyed enough sleep due to their conditions;

  1. The sick, the aged and the weak who are not strong enough to fast (Whose conditions exempt them from fasting) to observe Salāt at that time;

5 . Non-Muslims who have absolute right to their peace and sleep;

  1. Kids who are below the ages of puberty and need about nine hours of soundless sleep for their growth and general well-being;

  1. Those who choose to observe their Qiyāmul-Layl in their homes with their families; etc

Please, Let’s respect the rights of others as taught by Islām by observing our Qiyāmul-Layl without the use of Loud Speakers.

May ALLAH-SWT Accept Our Ibadah And All Our Good Deeds Rewarded,Aameen🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼.
