The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has warned intending pilgrims that missing their scheduled flights could lead to delays in their movement to Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj.

The commission said airlift operations would follow a strict zonal sequence, stressing that once flights are completed in a particular zone, airlines will move on and not return.

“Pilgrims who miss their scheduled flight will have to wait until they are regrouped for the next available movement,” the commission said.

NAHCON also emphasised the importance of the grouping system, directing pilgrims to travel strictly in batches of 45 to align with Nusuk card arrangements.

It advised pilgrims to familiarise themselves with members of their groups and maintain contact with their group leaders and state officials ahead of departure.

The Chairman of the commission, Ismail Yusuf, assured that adequate preparations had been made to ensure hitch-free Hajj operations.
