Movement of Pilgrims from Makkah to Minna begins on 7th Dhul Hijjah June 25th – Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has revealed that the movement of pilgrims from Makkah to Minna for commencement of 2023 Hajj exercise will start from 7th Dul Hijjah, Sunday June 25th.

 

 

Officer in charge of Taraddudiyya, of Ma’assasat, Abubakar Ba-Ni’ima stated this while addressing journalists during an inspection tour to the Masha’ir, the holy sites where the Hajj rites are performed, comprising Minna, Arafat and Muzdalifah on Tuesday.

 

He explained that the Ma’assasat, company in charge of transporting pilgrims during Hajj, has put a robust arrangement that would provide effective and smooth service for the guest of Allah.

 

According to him, part of the arrangements is number series of the buses to convey the pilgrims, explaining that each vehicle would carry the pilgrims according to the number of their tents.

 

He therefore appealed to National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON to take full control of Nigerian pilgrims for the success of the operation.

 

He urged the NAHCON to direct state pilgrims’ boards to control their contingents to be orderly in order not to disrupt the operation.

 

In his remarks earlier, the NAHCON ‘s Taraddudiyya Coordinator, Dr Aliyu Tanko ensured that the commission is ready to give maximum support and cooperation for the success of the operation.
