Nigerian Hajj Pilgrims to Benefit from Kuku’s Hajj Terminal Rehabilitation Project – FAAN

Under Olubunmi Kuku’s leadership, FAAN has successfully renovated Hajj Terminals in Kaduna, Ilorin, Maiduguri, Yola, Abuja, Katsina, and Kano. These upgrades have enhanced efficiency and provided a more comfortable environment for pilgrims.

 

Nigerian pilgrims preparing for the 2024 Hajj season will enjoy upgraded facilities, thanks to the proactive efforts of the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku. The Hajj Terminal rehabilitation project, aimed at enhancing cargo handling capacity and improving passenger experience, is already yielding significant results.

 

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, praised FAAN’s achievements during the annual Ministerial Press Briefing in Abuja. He highlighted that the improvements in Hajj Terminals are part of the government’s strategy to modernize aviation infrastructure and support local airlines.

 

Under Olubunmi Kuku’s leadership, FAAN has successfully renovated Hajj Terminals in Kaduna, Ilorin, Maiduguri, Yola, Abuja, Katsina, and Kano. These upgrades have enhanced efficiency and provided a more comfortable environment for pilgrims.

 

In addition to these completed projects, ongoing rehabilitation work is progressing at the Sokoto and Gombe Hajj Terminals. The focus is on modernizing facilities and improving operational capacity to handle the growing number of pilgrims and cargo.

 

Looking ahead, FAAN has proposed the renovation of Hajj Terminals in Lagos and Port Harcourt. This strategic move aims to further boost Nigeria’s capacity to manage Hajj operations and improve cargo infrastructure.
