The Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has begun receiving Hajj visas for intending pilgrims from the state ahead of the 2026 pilgrimage.
Administrative Secretary of the board, Muritala Fakunle, confirmed that preparations for the exercise are progressing steadily, with operational logistics already underway to ensure a smooth process for all registered pilgrims.
Fakunle assured intending pilgrims that the board is committed to delivering a well-coordinated Hajj exercise and urged them to remain calm as preparations continue.
He said the visa processing has been seamless and hitch-free, adding that the board is determined to ensure that every pilgrim has a smooth experience from the preparatory stage to their safe return from the Holy Land.
Head of Operations of the board, Akinsayan Ibrahim, said staff of the board have been working diligently to ensure that no pilgrim is left behind.
He added that the progress recorded so far reflects the commitment and professionalism of the board’s personnel in preparing for the 2026 Hajj.
