Over 1.8m pilgrims perform this year’s Hajj – Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Saudi Arabia has revealed that 1,833,164 pilgrims across the world have participated in the 2024 Hajj exercise.

In an infograph released by the ministry and sighted by HAJJ REPORTERS, the number covered both male and female pilgrims worldwide.

Giving the breakdown of number of the guests of Allah that entered the Kingdom through various ports, the ministry disclosed that 4, 714, 60,251 and 1,546, 345 entered the country through seaports, land and air respectively to perform this year’s Hajj.

It said 22.3 percent of this year’s pilgrims are from Arab countries, African countries (excluding Arab countries) represent 11.3%, Asian countries excluding Arab countries) representing 63.3% while European countries, North and South America and Australia represented 3.22%.
