Pakistan to conduct screening, issue air tickets, supply luggage of 2026 Hajj pilgrims in one day

In light of the government’s directive, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has taken a major decision to reduce costs, now all matters, including Hajj training, vaccination and luggage supply will be completed on the same day in 10 Hajj camps across the country.

Islamabad – March 27, 2026: In light of the government’s directive on cost saving, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Coordination has taken a major decision to cut costs, now the second phase of Hajj training in 10 Hajj camps across the country, including vaccination and luggage supply. All matters will be completed on the same day for each pilgrim. This facility will start from 8 April in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Sukkur and Rahim Yar Khan’s pilgrimage camps. A total of 1 lakh 19 thousand pilgrims will benefit from this initiative.

According to the spokesman Religious Affairs, vaccination is mandatory for all pilgrims. The schedule will be available on the Pak Hajj app, Hajj training will also be provided on the same day.

He said the pilgrims with the training process will be provided with air tickets and visas, identity pendants, luggage tags (coif letters) and packing of medicines.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs instructed pilgrims to computerize their original ID card and photo. Must bring bank receipt with you. Special counters of banks will also be set up for exchange of currency notes in Hajj camps to facilitate pilgrimage. All pilgrims should make sure to attend the Hajj camp according to their schedule given on the Pak Hajj app.
