Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a meeting with the Saudi Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef Mohammed Albalawi.
The meeting, held at the Vice President’s office on Wednesday, reviewed the longstanding relationship between both countries and explored opportunities to deepen cooperation across key sectors.
Shettima pledged Nigeria’s readiness to expand collaboration with Saudi Arabia in line with the aspirations of the leadership of both nations and their shared commitment to advancing mutual interests.
The discussions also focused on promoting regional and international security, stability and prosperity through enhanced partnership between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
Nigeria and Saudi Arabia maintain close diplomatic ties, with cooperation spanning trade, investment, religious affairs, security and other areas of mutual interest.
