President of the Supreme Judicial Council SJC, Judge Faiq Zaidan, on Thursday praised the efforts of the Higher Committee for Hajj and Umrah following its receipt of the Labaytum Grand Award.
According to a statement from the SJC’s media office obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Judge Zaidan received Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, Head of the Higher Committee for Hajj and Umrah, along with several deputies and directors-general of the committee.
During the meeting, Zaidan commended the authority for winning the Labaytum Grand Award for the third consecutive year in 2025, recognizing it as the top-rated Islamic Hajj mission based on the evaluation standards and criteria for the year 1446 AH.
To mark the occasion, the Council President presented a commemorative gift to the delegation.
