ZAMFARA ANNOUNCES THE COMMENCES REGISTRATION OF 2025 INTENDING PILGRIMS

The Zamfara State Hajj Commission (ZAHCOM) has commenced the registration of 2025 Hajj for intending pilgrims from the state.

The Executive Chairman the commission, Alhaji Musa Mallaha Talban Gusau, announced this during a meeting with the stakeholders of the Hajj exercise held at the ZAHCOM headquarters in Gusau.

He said this was in line with a directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for early preparation of 2025 Hajj operation.

Alhaji Musa Mallaha said the registration for the 2025 Hajj exercise commenced on the first day of September 2024.

The Talban Gusau further called on the state’s intending pilgrims to contact only the Hajj Assistant Registration Officers (AROs) of their respective local government areas for depositing their fares.

On the intending pilgrims that deposited their money for 2024 Hajj exercise, the executive chairman said the commission would refund them their money before end of this August.

He called on them to contact the AROs of their respective local government areas on how the refund would be conducted.

The refund would also include intending pilgrims who deposited their money between 2019 and 2023.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of ZAHCON , Alhaji Bello Umar Jabaka, Permanent Commissioners and part time members of the commission, AROs of the fourteen local government areas of the state.
