An elderly pilgrim from Gwale Local Government of Kano State, Alhaji Hudu Isma’il Shehu has gifted the pilgrims officer of the local government, Alhaji Mujitafa Muhd Auwal, a Toyota Camry car for his dedication to duty.
Alhaji Shehu while presenting a key of the car to the official said pilgrims from to Gwale Local Government have collectively expressed their deep appreciation for the hard work of their Hajj Center Officer.
Alhaji Hudu Isma’il Shehu mentioned that it is unprecedented in the history of the Local Government to have a Center Officer who successfully led about 175 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and back home safely without any problems or complaints.
He added that such a dedicated individual deserves a memorable reward to encourage others.
On his part, the Hajj Center Officer, Alhaji Auwal, expressed his gratitude for the wonderful gift as an award of excellence from the pilgrims.
He said this is the first time in history that he is receiving such recognition. He thanked the leader of the local government pilgrims for the remarkable gift.
He also took the opportunity to commend the efforts of the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, for his guidance, which, he said, helped him achieve this milestone.
Alhaji Mujitafa Muhd Auwal prayed to Almighty Allah to reward Alhaji Hudu Isma’il Shehu for the generous gesture.
