The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has invited all the Chief Executives of States Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards Agencies and Commissions for a post-hajj meeting tomorrow Monday at Hajj House, Abuja
A letter of invitation signed by the Commissions’ Director of Finance and Accounts; Dr. Salihu A. Usman dated 6th August 2024 seen by HAJJ REPORTERS slated the meeting for Monday 12th of August 2024.
It said “Sequel to our return from the holy land and successful completion of the 2024 Hajj exercise, I am directed to notify you that reconciliations for the 2024 Hajj accounts are slated to begin on Monday 12th of August 2024.
“Accordingly, you are expected to send your respective Heads of Accounts to bring along evidence of remittances into NAHCON CBN account.
HAJJ REPORTERS understand that reconciling various states pilgrims’ boards accounts with NAHCON is a yearly post-hajj exercise undertaking to sort financial payment differentials and ensure proper balancing before next year’s hajj financial transactions.
