Osun Pilgrims Board Opens 2026 Hajj Deposit with ₦8.5m Initial Payment

The Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the commencement of deposits for the 2026 Hajj exercise, with an initial payment of ₦8.5 million.

 

In a statement on Monday, Executive Secretary of the Board, Muritala Fakunle, urged intending pilgrims from Osun and beyond to begin early registration to secure slots and aid smooth preparations with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Saudi authorities.

 

He advised prospective pilgrims to make payments into the Board’s designated bank accounts with Jaiz, First Bank, FCMB, Unity Bank and Wema Bank.

 

Fakunle stressed that early deposits would ensure easier processing and efficient service delivery, while the final Hajj fare would be announced later by NAHCON.

The statement further enjoined the intending pilgrims to make their ₦8.5 000,000 deposit into any of the following designated bank accounts specifically opened for the Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board 2026 Hajj exercise.
