The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has implemented minor administrative reconfigurations and promoted some of its staff following the approval by the commission’s board of the redeployment of pool staff back to their respective ministries.
HAJJ REPORTERS had exclusively reported how NAHCON approved the immediate redeployment of those who were brought from another Ministry to the Commission, an issue that the Vice President had earlier directed should be reversed.
Hajj Reporters exclusively seen the list of those who have been promoted from Assistant Director to Deputy Director.
The Deputy Director of Planning has been promoted to Director, and the Assistant Director account has also been promoted to Deputy Director.
Assistant Director monitoring is now a Deputy Director, while Assistant Director Tour Operators has been elevated to Deputy Director. The Assistant Director of Information and Publications has been promoted to Deputy Director. Assistant Director Licensing has also been promoted to Deputy Director
NAHCON, in a statement signed by its newly promoted Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Fatima Sanda Usara, said the Board’s decision was taken primarily to eliminate redundancy and reposition the Commission for enhanced, effective and efficient service delivery and to motivate staff towards higher performances.
