Edo Board Steps Up NUSUK Data Upload Ahead of 2026 Hajj Visa Processing

The Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has intensified the upload of intending pilgrims’ data to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) NUSUK portal in preparation for visa processing for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Board said the move is part of early preparations aimed at ensuring a smooth and timely documentation process for pilgrims travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Chairman of the Board, Musa Muhammad Uduimoh, said early and sustained data upload would reduce delays and last-minute challenges often associated with visa processing, while ensuring strict compliance with NAHCON and Saudi Arabian guidelines.

The Executive Secretary, Eranga Abdulkabir Muhammadkabir, urged registered intending pilgrims to cooperate by submitting accurate personal details and valid international passports to facilitate seamless documentation on the NUSUK platform.

He explained that the portal serves as a centralised system for pilgrims’ data management, visa issuance and coordination of Hajj services.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a hitch-free 2026 Hajj operation and advised intending pilgrims yet to complete their registration to do so without delay.
