The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency says it has completed the issuance of visas to all intending pilgrims from the state for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

Executive chairman of the agency, Faruku Yaro, made the disclosure while briefing officials of the agency in Birnin Kebbi. Yaro was represented by the Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Faruku Jabbo.

He said the achievement reflects the agency’s commitment to ensuring smooth and timely preparations for the pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to him, the early completion of the visa process will give pilgrims adequate time to conclude other travel arrangements ahead of their departure.

Jabbo commended the support of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the dedication of the agency’s staff for ensuring that the documentation process was completed without delay.

He noted that a joint committee from the ICT and operations departments worked throughout the week to finalise the process.

Jabbo urged intending pilgrims to remain law-abiding, participate in all scheduled orientation programmes, and pray for peace and development of Kebbi State and Nigeria during their stay in the Holy Land.

The agency also reaffirmed its readiness to provide the necessary guidance and support to ensure a smooth and hitch-free 2026 Hajj exercise.
