The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Al-Hujaaj International Umrah and Hajj Services, Abdul Jelili Animashaun, has commended President Bola Tinubu for reforms introduced in Hajj operations, describing him as a trailblazer whose policies have continued to benefit pilgrims and operators.
Animashaun said the reforms initiated during Tinubu’s tenure as governor of Lagos State improved the organisation of Hajj and made the process easier for stakeholders.
He stated that the impact of those reforms is still being felt, noting that they have enhanced efficiency and convenience for pilgrims over the years.
The Al-Hujaaj boss also declared his support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, expressing confidence in his leadership.
He made this known while receiving an award at the launch of the Bola Tinubu Hajj Training and Resource Centre, organised by the Like-Minds of Ulamah Community Development Association of Nigeria (Southwest).
The event was attended by officials including the Commissioner for Operations at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Anofiu Elegushi, and the Special Adviser on Islamic Matters to the Lagos State Governor, Abdullah Jebe.
