FCT Board Schedules Vaccination for 2026 Hajj Pilgrims

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has scheduled a vaccination and inoculation exercise for intending pilgrims ahead of the 2026 Hajj.

The exercise will take place this weekend at the Board’s Permanent Hajj Transit Camp, Bassan Jiwa, near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

According to a statement signed by the Chief Information Officer, Ahmad Saleh, intending pilgrims from Abaji, Kwali, Gwagwalada, Kuje and the Board’s headquarters are to report on Saturday, April 11, 2026, by 8:00 a.m.

Pilgrims from Abuja Municipal, Bwari, the Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) and the Annex are expected to report on Sunday, April 12, 2026, also by 8:00 a.m.

The board urged all intending pilgrims to come along with the original receipts of their Hajj seats, while those in possession of their e-passports are to submit them to officials immediately.

The vaccination exercise is part of preparations for a smooth and successful Hajj operation.
