Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON has approved a five-member Government delegation to lead the 2026 pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The Members of the delegation include
1. Amirul Hajj – His Majesty the Ptil Madagali, Dr. Ali Danburam
2. Deputy Amirul Hajj- Hon. Justice Hapsat Abdulrahman
3. Member- Hon. Dr. Umar Garba Pella
4. Member- Dr. Bashir Imam Aliyu
5. Secretary- Saad Mailafiya
While congratulating the delegation, Governor Fintiri noted that the members were selected based on their proven track record of integrity and religious commitment.
He charged them to prioritize the welfare of all pilgrims to ensure a smooth and successful religious exercise
