The Nusuk quality assessment team has approved facilities designated for Nigerian pilgrims in Mina ahead of the 2026 Hajj.

Mashariq Al Dhahabia, a service provider approved by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, disclosed that 11 out of 13 hospitality centres assigned to Nigerian pilgrims met the required Nusuk compliance standards.

The Director of Nigerian Hajj Services, Hateem Tunka, made this known in an update to Hajj Reporters on preparations for the pilgrimage.

“We have achieved Nusuk compliance in 11 out of the 13 hospitality centres serving Nigerian pilgrims,” he said.

Tunka added that all operational identification cards had been distributed to personnel across the centres to facilitate movement and coordination within the holy sites.

“We have officially delivered all work ID cards to the hospitality centres serving Nigerian pilgrims, enabling staff to navigate the holy sites effectively in preparation for their arrival,” he said.

He noted that the measures are part of ongoing efforts to ensure readiness and improve service delivery for Nigerian pilgrims during the Hajj exercise.
