The Zamfara State Hajj Commission has announced Friday, May 15, 2026, as the date for the inaugural flight conveying intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The commission disclosed that the flight, with a capacity of 560 pilgrims, would transport pilgrims from Bukkuyum, Gummi, Shinkafi, Kaura-Namoda and Zurmi Local Government Areas.

According to the commission, all pilgrims scheduled for the flight are expected to arrive at the Gusau Hajj Camp on Thursday, May 14, for medical screening and security checks ahead of departure.

The commission also warned that the E-Nusuk grouping system does not permit change of flight, stressing that any pilgrim who fails to show up would forfeit his or her 2026 Hajj seat.

It advised intending pilgrims to contact their Assistant Registration Officers or the commission’s Public Relations Officer for further inquiries.
