Kaduna airlift 1,158 Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in 3 days

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has successfully airlifted a total of 1,158 pilgrims from Kaduna to Medina in three consecutive flights for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The first flight departed on 14 May 2026 with 426 pilgrims on board. The second flight departed on 15 May 2026, conveying 389 pilgrims, while the third flight departed on 16 May 2026 with 343 pilgrims respectively. All three flights landed safely in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, pilgrims scheduled for the fourth flight are already at Hassan Usman Katsina International Airport awaiting departure this afternoon. In the same vein, pilgrims scheduled for the fifth flight have commenced reporting to the Transit Camp, Mando, Kaduna, from 10:00 a.m. today, 17 May 2026.
The pilgrims are being conveyed by Flynas Airline company for this year’s Hajj exercise.
The Agency appreciates the cooperation and patience of all pilgrims and stakeholders, and remains committed to ensuring a smooth and successful airlift operation for all intending pilgrims from Kaduna State.
