As part of the Hajj guidelines recently released by the apex Hajj regulatory body in Nigeria, NAHCON, all Licensed Private Hajj Operators Companies are required to submit their hajj packages for evaluation and approval by NAHCON
This policy requires Tour Operators to provide details of their Hajj Fare before announcing the hajj packages.
The policy also requires Tour Operators to provide details on how they intend to refund pilgrims in the event that certain services included in the hajj package were not provided to them during hajj or Umrah
NAHCON also issued post-qualification guidelines, which require operators to comply with all Hajj payment directives, maintain approved quality and safety standards, employ trained personnel, maintain emergency response plans, and submit quarterly operational reports.
