In preparation for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board successfully embarked on a two-day Train-the-Trainers workshop at the Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmoud Adam Hall in Gwallaga, Bauchi.
The workshop which is slated to run from the 14th to the 15th of April, 2025, was designed to equip key personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively guide and support pilgrims during their spiritual journey to the holy land.
Delivering a goodwill message, Imam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris, emphasized the significance of proper training in ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for pilgrims from the state.
The Galadiman Bauchi, Alhaji Sa’idu Jahun, while addressing the attendees, stressed the importance of the initiative and the need for well-prepared trainers to manage the complexities of the pilgrimage.
The Special Adviser on the Pilgrims Board, Hon Shehu Wadaji, is to play a central role in the event, offering insightful guidance throughout the workshop and reinforcing the value of collaboration and continuous learning.
In his remarks, Hon. Commissioner of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Alhaji Abdulmumini Binni Abdulqadeer, highlighted the importance of cooperation among stakeholders to ensure a successful Hajj for Bauchi pilgrims.
