NAHCON’s coordinator in charge of the Hajj Saving Scheme (HSS) and Hajj Institute of Nigeria (HIN) has tendered his resignation today.

Dr Aliyu Tanko who is also the head of the Taradudhiya committee and one of the most experienced hajj administrators tendered his resignation with effect from today 28 November 2024.
A short message sent to HAJJ REPORTERS today reads “Assalamu Alaikum, This is to formally inform you that I have tendered my resignation with effect from today 28 November 2024. This is on personal grounds. Thank you so much as you pray for me, Aliyu Tanko”
His resignation is coming when another veteran hajj official Engr Goni Sanda resigned a few weeks ago.
The new development will create a serious shortage of versatile and hardworking operational staff in NAHCON in particular and in the hajj industry in general.
