The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has urged intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj to submit their passports.
Director-General of the board, Ahmad Labbo, made the call in a statement by the board’s spokesperson, Habibu Yusuf, following a management meeting in Dutse, the state capital, on Tuesday.
Labbo urged all intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their passports to do so promptly to avoid delays in visa processing.
“The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board is fully prepared for the 2025 Hajj visa processing,” Labbo said.
The DG assured all that all arrangements for a smooth visa application process have been finalised.
He emphasised that the grouping of pilgrims will continue as in previous years to ensure efficiency.
He further urged all intending pilgrims to submit their passports immediately to avoid delays.
According to him, the board will work with Zonal Officers to ensure strict adherence to Saudi regulations.
Labbo reiterated the board’s commitment to ensuring all registered pilgrims complete their documentation without issues.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has allocated 1,518 seats to Jigawa for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
