NAHCON, 2025 Hajj Air Carrier to sign airlift agreement March 10

Barring any unforeseen delays, the 2025 hajj airlift agreement will be signed on Monday, the 10th of March 2025

 

The airlift agreement is to be signed by NAHCON and the approved 2025 hajj air carriers  for the states Muslim pilgrims welfare boards pilgrims , namely MAX Air, Flynas, UMZA AIR SERVICES and Air Peace

 

Sources who spoke with HAJJ REPORTERS said “NAHCON has officially communicated to the airliners that the agreement will be signed by the 10th of March 2025 at the Hajj House, Abuja

 

The airlift agreement signaled the formal contractual arrangement between NAHCON and the Hajj air carriers. The agreement also spelt out how many pilgrims would be airlifted by which airline and which states.

 

Meanwhile, HAJJ REPORTERS  learned that the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation Timeline for applying for slots by all hajj air carriers starts on the 3rd of March

 

According to the schedule released by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Submission of Hajj flight requests will be started on Sunday, March 3rd, 2025, and end on March 28th, 2025.

 

Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation harps on the importance of finalizing the contract with Hajj missions especially on the airlift saying All legal measures will be taken against any air carrier that transports pilgrims on flights (regular or charter) and does not comply with the provisions, rules and regulations related to the transport of pilgrims.

The first flight carrying 2025 hajj pilgrims is expected to start arriving in Saudi Arabia on the 29th of April 2025, with the End of the arrival flight slated for the 31st of May 2025

 

The returning flight will begin on the 10th of June 2025, and with the last flight of the hajj flight expected to depart the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 10th of July 2025.
