The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially launched a training program for its zonal officers on how to use dollar debit cards during the upcoming twenty-seven Hajj operations.
This initiative is in response to Saudi Arabia’s new regulations for the twenty-seventh Hajj, which have been mandated by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for all states to implement.
The training, which is being conducted in collaboration with Guaranty Trust Bank, will ensure that officers have the necessary knowledge and skills.
While opening the workshop, Director General Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo emphasized the importance of early preparation to ensure efficiency and a successful Hajj operation.
The Director General Labbo specifically urged the participants to apply what they had learned and share it with other aspiring pilgrims in order to better prepare them for the journey.
He also stated that the board will continue to support and cooperate with all pilgrims to ensure a successful Hajj experience.
