The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, disclosed this today in his office, stating that arrangements had been concluded for the refund of excess payments to 500 intending pilgrims who initially deposited ₦8,000,000 each.

The required documents include their bank account details, a photocopy of the original payment receipt, and a formal letter of request for the refund.

The Director-General further directed all affected pilgrims to submit the required documents through their respective Local Government Hajj Centre officers on or before Monday, 26 October 2026, to enable the commencement of payments.
