“The Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board has organized a two-day workshop on financial management for its account staff.
This is to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of public funds by the Katsina State Government under the leadership of Mallam Dikko Umar Radda phd.
In his opening remarks, the Executive Director of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama, explained that the training workshop was organized to enhance the skills and knowledge of finance staff in modern accounting procedures and best practices.
This initiative is also aimed to ensure that the financial personnel of the board are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities efficiently and effectively.¹
The resource person during the workshop, Mr Friday, explained various methods and procedures on how they should conduct themselves while on their respective duties.
He said the workshop will also provide them with guidance on best practices and procedures to follow in the course of their assignment.
Speaking during the training workshop, the Director of Finance of the board, Alhaji Sagir Abdullahi Inde expressed appreciation to the Executive Director of the Board for their unwavering support in organizing this training workshop for our finance staff.
