The two-day workshop opened with a heartfelt dua by Mallam Nasiruddin Shuraim Abdulmumin, who reminded the pilgrims of the sacred invitation extended to them by Allah. “If Allah has blessed you with this journey, thank Him sincerely and have sincerity of purpose. You’ll find that He will put barakah in your Hajj,” he urged, invoking divine protection and patience for the pilgrims ahead of their sacred journey.
In his welcome address, Alhaji Mohammed Musa Abubakar, the Chief Concierge, reassured pilgrims of Marquis’ readiness, emphasizing the importance of learning and active participation. “This induction is an important part of the Hajj operation… With your support and duas, everything will go smoothly,” he said.
Renowned Islamic scholar Abu Jabir Abdullah (Penabdul) gave a stirring lecture on the spiritual essence of Hajj through its history. He reminded pilgrims that Hajj is a combination of physical and financial devotion. “Accepted Hajj has no reward except Paradise. You will spend, you will sweat, but it is a journey of love and surrender,” he said.
The workshop continues with sessions on practical demonstrations of rites, travel logistics, and health guidelines—all aimed at preparing the pilgrims both spiritually and physically for a fulfilling Hajj experience.
