Middle East Conflict: Saudi advise travellers to check with Airlines before arriving Airports

by admin

Some of the major Airports in Saudi Arabia have issued advisories to travellers to check with their Airlines before heading to the Airports for departure.

Countries such as Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Israel closed their airspace Friday after Israel launched strikes on Iran.

One of such notices issued by authorities at the King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah on Friday said that “due to recent developments and regional airspace closures, travellers are advised to check with their airlines before heading to the airport to avoid any delays or changes.”

Independent Hajj Reporters’ checks on Flight Radar 24 show that airlines are diverting around the closed air spaces to avoid conflicts.

Many of the airlines have also announced cancellations of routes within the conflict zones.
